To book: The Aquarium entry ticket, from $37 per person. Check dates Tour details
All the figures on this page come from the Aquarium's official pages: tickets and prices, the news on dynamic pricing, special promotions and promotions at the ticket desk. They are in euros, set by Costa Edutainment, which manages the Aquarium, and they change. Always check the final price in the purchase procedure.
The principle is one, and the Aquarium sums it up in a slogan: «the earlier you buy, the less you spend». The rest are ranges, exceptions and a few rules to know before paying.
The short answer
Online, the adult fixed-date ticket costs from 26 to 34 euros, depending on season, date, time slot and demand; at the desk it costs 34 euros. Children 4-12 years from 16 to 25 euros, reduced from 20 to 29 euros, children 0-3 years free. Open Flexi costs 38 euros and has a fixed price. Combined tickets range from 37 euros (PianetAcquario) to 51 euros (AcquarioVillage); the annual pass costs 95 euros.

How does the Aquarium of Genoa dynamic price work?
Online, the fixed-date and time slot ticket varies from a minimum of 26 to a maximum of 34 euros for adults, based on seasonality, date, entry time and overall demand.
The words are the Aquarium’s. Choose the day and the half-hour entry and the system shows you the price for that moment. The dynamic price applies to the single ticket and to the PianetAcquario combined ticket, in all categories: adult, child, reduced.
The sales conditions add two details. Prices are updated every day, during the night, and among the variables they also cite weather conditions. Therefore, the same ticket, for the same date and time slot, may cost more or less the night after your purchase: the price you pay is the one displayed at that time.
Which are the least crowded days? The Aquarium does not publish attendance data. It publishes half-hour slots and the advice to buy early, and that is all we know.

| Adult | 26 euros | 34 euros |

How much does the ticket cost at the desk?
The adult ticket at the desk costs 34 euros, the maximum of the online range.
Tickets can also be bought at the ticket desks at the entrance, as well as on acquariodigenova.it and ticket.acquariodigenova.it. However, dynamic pricing only applies online: at the ticket desk the Aquarium indicates 34 euros for an adult.
Online or at the desk, entry always takes place in half-hour slots. The fixed-date ticket has three limits to know before paying:
- the date and time slot cannot be changed for any reason;
- the ticket is non-refundable;
- it cannot be combined with other promotions.
Tickets are not in the holder's name: if you cannot go, you can pass them on to someone else. What happens if you arrive late is explained in the opening hours guide.
On GetYourGuide, the entry ticket with date and time slot can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before.

Open Flexi costs 38 euros for adults and does not follow the dynamic price: it is valid for one year and allows one change of date or time slot.
With Open Flexi you buy now and book later, in your reserved area. The ticket is valid for 12 months from purchase and you can change the date and time slot only once, up to 2 hours before the chosen entry time. Like the fixed-date ticket, it is non-refundable.
The sale conditions state it clearly: Open tickets have «a unique and defined value» and do not change with the dynamic price variables, except for periodic list price changes. There is also the PianetAcquario Open Flexi, at 47 euros for adults.

Discover Aquarium, Galata and submarine Tour detailsWho pays the reduced rate and what promotions are there at the desk?
The reduced rate is for military, over 65s and people with certified disabilities; at the desk there are «Mercoledì dei genovesi» at 17 euros and «3rd child free» for families.
For the reduced rate, a valid document must be shown at the ticket desk. The companion of a person with 100% disability enters free: collect the ticket at the desk with the certification. For children with disabilities aged 4-12, the Aquarium recommends the child ticket, which costs less than the reduced rate.
The two promotions published by the Aquarium apply only at the ticket desks:
- Mercoledì dei genovesi: every Wednesday, excluding holidays and evening openings, residents of Genoa and the province pay 17 euros, a flat rate for adults, children and reduced, with a document proving residence;
- 3rd child free: for families with 2 adults paying full price and at least 3 children aged 4 to 12.
Groups of at least 20 paying visitors and schools book with C-WAY, the Aquarium's tour operator. The full picture of tickets is in the tickets guide.
